We seek to hire research assistants (interns) at GATE (Groupe d’Analyse et de Theorie Economique) to work on a systematic review of the literature on the effect of educational interventions on climate change mitigation and adaption. The literature review will be interdisciplinary and intersectional as it borrows from different fields and disciplines (e.g. economics, psychology, education, sociology, environmental science, biology, ecology, etc.). The main tasks of the research assistants will be to search for relevant articles to include in the literature review using different scientific search engines, and assist the research team in the preparation of the literature review and in the realization of some economic experiments. The research assistants will work under the supervision of Dr. Fabio Galeotti (CNRS), Dr. Astrid Hopfensitz (EMLyon) and César Mantilla (Universidad del Rosario), in collaboration with the French Agency of Development (Agence Française de Développement).

The Institute for Logic, Language and Computation (ILLC) at the University of Amsterdam, in collaboration with the Groupe d'Analyse et de Théorie Economique (GATE) at CNRS, the University of Lyon 2 and the University Jean Monnet Saint-Etienne, will host the 1st Amsterdam/Saint-Etienne Workshop on Social Choice on 27-28 March 2023.

The post-doctoral fellow will develop theoretical models, design and conduct field and/or laboratory experiments, and use up-to-date econometric methods for the analysis of data, applied to the functioning of institutions of collective deliberation. The position is funded by the ANR Citizens project (CITIZENS’ Implication in public decision, https://www.gate.cnrs.fr/Citizens/), focused on citizens' involvement in public decision making at the local level, including participation in election and collective deliberation (jury, deliberative assembly, informal group, participatory budget, etc.).
