Presentation
Behavioral economists’ research focuses on decision making and social interactions. They are divided into 3 scientific orientations:
1- Institutions and preferences : formation of moral and social preferences, role of economic, emotional and neural mechanisms, efficiency of institutions.
2- Cognition and motivations : role of mental process, emotions and belief under uncertainty and in the information process.
3- Incentives and organisation : role of identity, interactions between humans and robots, artificial intelligence in organisation.
On the methodological level, we develop laboratory and field experiments, cross-cultural studies, the use of physiological and biological measurement tools and virtual reality.
Main topics:
- Unethical behaviour
- Incentives and peer effects
- Cooperation
- Cognitive and behavioural finance
