The Fifth Annual SEBA-GATE Workshop was held in Shanghai, on April 28-29, 2014. It was jointly organized by the Business School (SEBA) at Beijing Normal University (BNU), GATE Lyon-St Etienne, and the School of Economics at Fudan University, Employment and Social Security Reserch Center of Fudan University. The main themes for the 2014 edition were Labour Economics, Public Economics, and Macroeconomics and Finance.
This year, we have also launched the new International Associated Laboratory (LIA, Chineq) “Inequalities in China: Empirical and Experimental Approaches” between CNRS and BNU. The objectives of the LIA are to reinforce the existing long-lasting collaboration between GATE and SEBA and to promote new research and training activities in the field of economic inequalities.
