The GATE Institute in Lyon (France) will host the 4th annual meeting of the French Experimental Economics Association (ASFEE) on June 20-21, 2013.

We are pleased to announce our Plenary Speakers:

  • Roland Benabou (Princeton University and Toulouse School of Economics)

  • Catherine C. Eckel (Texas A&M University) : "Risk-Sharing Norms in the Field: The Solidarity Game in Three Texas Communities"

A plenary talk by Iwan Barankay (Wharton, University of Pennsylvania) will be followed by a general discussion on the various experimental methods in economics ("Lab and field experiments: substitutes or complements?"). Catherine Eckel will also participate in this round table.

An invited session on neuroeconomics and the role of emotions in economic decision-making will be held with the support of the Laboratory of excellence CORTEX.

The ASFEE annual meeting offers an opportunity to present and discuss original contributions using various experimental methods to learn about economic behavior. Controlled laboratory, field or randomized experiments are welcome, as well as theoretical or methodological contributions related to economic behavior or experimental economics.
