We offer two postdoc positions funded by the French Agency of Research
through the IDEXLYON program.

These two-year positions will start on September 1st, 2019, or earlier. The
monthly gross salary is beteen 2000 and 2500 euros, commensurate with
experience. The successful candidates will be based at ENS de Lyon.

The two post-doc researchers will participate in the research project “The
Economic Determinants and Legacies of Violence” which is divided in two subprojects :

  • 1 - Natural resources and development with a special focus on the impact of natural resources on local economy.
  • 2 - The economic determinants of interpersonal violence.

Applicants are expected to show outstanding commitment to research, in
economics or political science, with strong quantitative skills.
The candidates must be in possession of a PhD or in the process of completing it by the time ofthe hiring.

We will interview candidates in Naples on December 6-7, 2018, during the Job Market organized by the European Economic Association
( Travel costs to Naples will not be covered. Candidates who do not plan to be present in that venue should indicate it in their applications. Alternative dates and
arragements can be made for their interviews. A selection of candidates will then be invited in Lyon for a fly-out.
