Post Doc position in Health Economics

The GATE Lyon Saint-Etienne (Group for Economic Analysis and Theory) is keen to host a CNRS post-doctoral fellow in health economics, and is currently encouraging applications to the scheme. The next CNRS call for applications closes on July 22, 2018 ( Successful applicants will be notified of the decision by August 31, 2018 and will be awarded a 24-month fellowship starting from October 2018 onwards. The funding may be extended for an additional 12-month period.

Applicants must have obtained their PhD after January 2013. GATE department is interested in post-doc proposals related to applied health microeconomics, both theoretical and empirical.
Applicants can be of any nationality. French language is not required. The post-doctoral fellow will have no teaching or administrative duties. The salary is in the order of €35,500 per annum, depending on the experience of the candidate.
Research proposals (5-page max) should be built around a concrete plan of training-through-research that can fit in GATE research activity. In addition to research activities and objectives, proposals should address the researcher’s training and career needs, including training on transferable skills, planning for publications and participation in conferences.
