The 2026 edition of the “Economics and Philosophy in Lyon-Saint-Étienne” workshop, organized by IRPHIL and GATE, will take place on June 1st and 2nd and will focus on economic expertise and democracy.

This workshop is organized with support of the AMI SHS Democis and the PEPR Maths-Vives CONDORCET. It is likely to be of interest not only to researchers in the field of ‘economics and philosophy’, but also, more broadly, to specialists in political philosophy, philosophy of science, and economists interested in the evaluation of public policy.

Registration. All colleagues and students from the doctoral schools of philosophy and economics at Lyon and Saint-Etienne are welcome to attend the presentations, upon registration.
