The 2026 edition of the EHEW, organized by GATE and HITS, will take place on June 4 and 5 in Lyon.

This European Health Economics Workshop (EHEW) brings together international researchers in the field of Health Economics. It focuses primarily on the discussion of microeconomic models applied to health economics, with a strong emphasis on applications of industrial organization, contract theory, insurance economics, and public economics. Empirical and experimental papers making substantial use of a theoretical model also feature. Potential topics include (but are not limited to) competition, regulation, private and public insurance, provider payment, pharmaceuticals, antibiotic resistance, long term care, chronic conditions, nutrition and prevention policies, digital health.
