Wealth Accumulation and Inequality of Opportunity – Comparative and historical perspectives

Poster1.jpg The School of Humanities and Social Science at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), the French Centre for Research on Contemporary China (CEFC, Hong Kong) and the Groupe d’Analyse et de Théorie Economique (GATE Lyon Saint-Etienne) are jointly organizing a two-day conference on Wealth Accumulation and Inequality of Opportunity.

The conference is devoted to investigating the dynamics of inequality in China in terms of the production and the transmission of inequalities in a rapidly changing environment.
